Who we are

El-Aged Care is a not for-profit organization incorporated in Nigeria and recognized by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO); Registration Number: RC1134133.

El-Aged Care is dedicated to caring for the rural elderly by offering an alternative model of care and services to help alleviate the suffering experienced by many older people in need or at risk in the rural areas.

Goals and objectives

• To provide a model of comprehensive community care that will enable older adults in the rural areas access a broad range of health and community support services. This will incorporate medical, social, supportive care, recreational rehabilitation and social work for promoting, maintaining and restoring health and active living.
• To create accessible and inclusive built and social environments where older adults can age in place; enjoy good health, participate actively and live in safe and secure environment.
• To provide home care service; providing suitable, supervised personnel to help older persons with either health care (helping to monitor general health status and wellbeing, administer medications, changing dressings, etc) or personal care (bathing, dressing, and grooming) to such persons that have challenges with caring for themselves because of disability or old age.
• To provide the services of residential care homes that includes board and care such as will provide shelter, supervision, meals, and personal care to older adults in care and also assist them manage with activities of daily living. believable.
